Global Insurance Management (formerly Lumley Auto) was founded in 1977 and is authorised and regulated by the FSA (No 311911). The partnership between Global Insurance Management and AXA has been in existence for over 28 years. AXA has contracted with Global Insurance Management as their partner in motor and non-motor related general insurance products. This is a major commitment by AXA and illustrates the confidence and strength of past and present business philosophies.

AXA Insurance
AXA Insurance is one of the largest general insurers in the UK. Launched in January 1998 as AXA Provincial Insurance plc, following the merger of the UAP and AXA Group in 1997, the group changed its name to AXA Insurance in October 1998. When the AXA UK Group acquired the Guardian Royal Exchange Group in May 1999, Guardian’s UK Insurance operations were merged into AXA Insurance.
AXA Insurance offers a wide range of insurance products to business and consumers, predominantly through brokers. A number of products are available direct through axa.co.uk or through AXA owned Swiftcover.
