Ian Turley - Underwriting Director
Director of Underwriting
Ian has 13 years broking and underwriting experience in Global Insurance Management’s product lines and joined Global in August 2008 as Director of Underwriting. His role and expertise is varied and includes new product innovation, risk assessment & analysis as well as maintaining the relationships with the Insurance Companies supporting Global’s range of products. Ian also has the responsibility of the third party administration division which provides outsourced services to Insurers.
Prior to joining the management team at Global, Ian was Warranty Underwriting Manager for AXA Insurance maintaining strong relationships and helping to develop bespoke products and solutions for their worldwide partners.
Ian’s previous experience includes 8 years with Life, Pension & Investment intermediaries, in a variety of roles.
He works alongside the senior management team to promote Global’s business philosophies, identifying business potentials in the general insurance market both within the normal core business and also in emerging markets.
